    About this paper

    Engineering graph paper

Engineering paper is ruled 5 squares per inch with bolder lines every inch, printed in a soft green that is easy on the eyes and photocopies faintly. Engineers use it for calculations, free-body diagrams and quick sketches.

Turn off the paper color if you want to save ink. The grid stays green.

    Frequently asked questions

    Why is engineering paper green?

Pale green is easy on the eyes and drops out of many photocopies, so the handwritten work stands out.

How do I make sure the grid prints at the right size?

In the print dialog choose “Actual size”, “100%” or “No scaling”, and turn off “Fit to page” or “Shrink to fit”. To confirm, print our free calibration test sheet and measure the 10 cm line with a ruler.

Is it free for commercial use?

Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no download limit. You can use the paper for classes, worksheets, products and client work.
