    About this paper

    Brick graph paper

Each row (course) is a strip of rectangles, and every other row is shifted by half a brick so the vertical joints never line up. The spacing sets the brick height and the width ÷ height ratio sets its length.

A ratio of 2 gives the look of many pavers and subway tiles. Use 3 for modular brick proportions including mortar joints, or about 1.2 for brick stitch beadwork with cylinder beads.

    Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between brick and peyote paper?

Brick paper offsets horizontal rows by half a cell. Peyote paper offsets vertical columns instead, matching how peyote stitch beads sit.

How do I make sure the grid prints at the right size?

In the print dialog choose “Actual size”, “100%” or “No scaling”, and turn off “Fit to page” or “Shrink to fit”. To confirm, print our free calibration test sheet and measure the 10 cm line with a ruler.

Is it free for commercial use?

Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no download limit. You can use the paper for classes, worksheets, products and client work.
